• Extend sewer infrastructure to older neighborhoods with state and federal support.
• Approve development only where roads, utilities, and public services can support
growth.
• Evaluate emergency medical service needs in southern Woodford County.

Taxpayers deserve efficient, transparent government that manages every public dollar wisely.
• Review all interlocal agreements for effectiveness and accountability.
• Work with taxing districts to establish appropriate reserve levels.
• Review shared-use agreements for community sports facilities.
• All departments will complete annual inventories of county-owned assets.
• Review county property values for fairness and consistency.
• Reduce the county payroll tax.

Healthy communities are built through prevention, treatment, recovery, and strong community partnerships.
•Work with the Kentucky Association of County Officials to promote best practices for Kentucky Opioid Abatement settlement funds and ensure transparency and accountability in how the funds are used.
• Encourage churches, schools and nonprofit organizations to help address addition
treatment, primary care and behavioral health issues.
• Promote transitional housing for individuals and families in recovery.
• Pursue funding to expand healthcare services in Woodford County.
• Increase green space, pollinator habitat, community gardens and trails.

Agriculture & Rural EconomyAgriculture & Rural Economy
Agriculture is the foundation of Woodford County's heritage and economy.
• Find a permanent location for Farmers Market large enough to support all members and future growth.
• Strengthen the Rural Land Management Board and implement gateway farm program.
• Preserve productive farmland through thoughtful land management and planning.
• Launch a Young Farmers Program modeled after successful Kentucky programs.
• Work with neighboring counties to address regional flooding challenges.
• Support new agricultural businesses through payroll tax and net profits tax holidays.
• Continue strong partnerships with Cooperative Extension, the Conservation District, USDA, Kentucky Fish & Wildlife and Livestock Innovation Center, while remaining open to new partnerships that strengthen Woodford County agriculture.

Safe, reliable infrastructure is essential to Woodford County's future.
• Improve road drainage by replacing undersized culverts and upgrading bridges.
• Prioritize annual funding for road maintenance.
• Improve roadway safety by widening roads, adding shoulders, and installing guardrails
where appropriate.
• Work with utility providers to improve the reliability of water, electric, and broadband
infrastructure.
• Develop a long-term plan to manage trees and vegetation that threaten public utilities.
• Evaluate transportation improvements along US 60 and Bluegrass Parkway.
• Review major intersection proposals to ensure they improve traffic flow.
• Partner with state and federal agencies to modernize South Woodford Water District
infrastructure.
